Once upon a time in Persia, lived a clever
man named Abunawas. The king always called him to the castle because he wanted
to trap Abunawas with his curious questions. One day, he called Abunawas to his
palace. When Abunawas arrived, the king smiled and told about his problem.
“I always get a stomachache lately; my medical
man said that I have got a wind attack” said the King.
“My pardon Majesty, what should I do for
helping you??? Said Abunawas
“I would like you to catch the wind and
bring it to in prison” reply the King
Abunawas
was quiet because didn’t talk any words. He didn’t think the way how to catch
the wind but he was thinking how to prove that he really caught the wind. Wind can’t
be seen, it was different with water because we can see water even didn’t have
color. The King gave Abunawas only three days to do it. Soon Abunawas returned
to his home and though what he must to do. Actually he was a clever man, so
that he wasn’t sad just because this problem. Thinking was a part of his life
moreover he though that it was his need. He though that thinking will give a
way to solve his problem. Meanwhile he was sure that he can help another people,
especially poor people by thinking. And because his cleverness, he got much
money from the King.
Two days passed and Abunawas still didn’t
fine any way how to catch the wind and bring it in prison. The next day was the
deadline for him and he was restless because he didn’t find a solution. He
couldn’t sleep well because this problem. Then the day came and he was
surrender if the King gave him a punishment. Because he still didn’t fine any
way for it. He walked to the palace and suddenly on the way he remembers
something. They are Aladin and his magic lamp.
“I think an elf can’t be seen?” he asked
himself
Suddenly he got an idea; he jumped up and
returned to his home happily. At home he soon prepared anything to bring to the
palace. When he arrived in front of the palace gate, the guards let him enter
because the King had been waiting for him.
“Were you success to catch and bring the
wind to in prison, Abunawas?” asked the King curiously.
“Yes majesty, I have done your command”
reply Abunawas while giving a bottle to the King.
The King received that bottle and said
“Where the wind that you have caught Abunawas?”
“It is inside the bottle, majesty” said
Abunawas.
“But I don’t see anything inside” reply the
King
“Pardon me majesty, basically we can’t see
the wind but if you really want know it, you must open the bottle tub”
explained Abunawas
When the bottle had opened, the King found
a bad smelt from it. It was Abunawas’s
flatus.
“What a bad smell! What is it Abunawas?”
said the King angrily
“Pardon me majesty, I have flatus and sent
it to the bottle. I was afraid if the wind went out so that I had prison it
into the bottle” said Abunawas frightened.
Finally the King didn’t angry to him
because his reason was believable. And then the King gave him much money and
gold for his cleverness.
